Supporting People (annual): Numbers in receipt of housing support
This is a new return introduced in 2003 which records the numbers receiving housing support during the year under the Supporting People programme, by client profile, type and intensity of service, service provider and accommodation type. Local authorities should collate the information from each supplier of housing support services and submit one return to the Scottish Executive. This should preferably be in electronic format, however, a PDF version is provided for suppliers who do not have access to Excel.
The Excel spreadsheet has been designed to simplify the completion process and ensure the quality of the data provided. Some of the cells for totals contain formulas which automatically calculate the figures and these are protected so they cannot be accidentally overwritten. However, if data providers find that this is causing problems, please contact the Housing Statistics Branch in the first instance.
