Local Authority Statistical Data Provider Information Area:
Improvements

IMP1A (quarterly): Discretionary and mandatory grants for house conversion, improvement and repair (private sector)
This monitors the amount of private sector grants paid (rather than approved) for house conversion, improvement or repair. It seeks information on the number of dwellings on which final grant is paid, together with the amount paid and the type of grant involved. This return was revised for 2004-05 as a result of legislative changes in 2003. There have been additional revisions to the notes for 2005-06.

Please note, for grants approved before October 2003 but being paid now: Put the total amount paid under 'all types' and classify the amount paid under the new legislation in the categories provided, with a note explaining that the discrepancy is due to monies paid on old grants.
