Scottish Government Sports Division
The Sports Division in the Scottish Government is headed by Kate Vincent. Within the Division there are four teams:
- Performance Team, which deals with sponsorship of sportscotland, elite sport and national and regional sports facilities
- Participation Team, which covers participation issues and local facilities
- Games Legacy Team, which co-ordinates the development and delivery of a Games Legacy Plan from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London in 2012.
- Games Delivery Team, which supports the delivery of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
