The Case Officer will be allocated cases by a regional co-ordinator.
It is the role of the Case Officer to manage the application process from the SoI stage to the point at which your full Proposal is committed, assessed and finally presented to the RPAC.
At the SoI stage, the Case Officer will:
- Assess your SoI, awarding it a ' red' or ' amber' rating
- Offer feedback on your SoI to assist you in making a full proposal
- Offer advice on the competitiveness of potential funding for the activities you have put forward.
At the Proposal stage, the Case Officer will:
- Assess your submitted proposal, seeking advice and information from colleagues in other public bodies and agencies as required
- Submit your proposal for consultation where required - planting of new and felling of existing woodlands
- Provide you with feedback on how your application could be improved before you commit your proposal for formal assessment
- Formally assess and score your full proposal
- Make a recommendation to the RPAC as to whether they should approve (in part or in full) your proposal or reject it.
