Application Form.

Any community body wishing to apply to register an interest under the Community Right to Buy will be required to complete the appropriate application form. Guidance for completing the form is contained in an Annex to the Executive's Community Right to Buy: Guidance booklet.

Completed application forms, included maps and supporting documentation, should be sent to:

Please note that we will not accept electronic copies of the application form or other documents supporting your application. A 'hard copy' must be supplied.

Re-registration.

A successful application is valid for 5 years from the date that Ministers accept the application. To extend your application for a further 5 years you must apply to Ministers to re-register your community interest within 6 months of the expiry date. The completed re-registration form must be received in time for the process to be completed before the expiry deadline of the current registration.

The receipt of a part-completed or incorrect re-registration form will not be accepted as satisfying the criteria for the re-registration. Therefore care should be taken regarding the completion and timings relating to the re-registration.
