First Meeting of the Strategic Science Advisory Panel (SSAP) - 10 January 2006
Introduction
The first meeting of the panel was held in the Hilton Edinburgh Airport hotel on 10 January 2006. The panel were introduced to one another, to the Chief Scientific Adviser to SEERAD and to the observers from the Scottish Funding Council (SFC), the Department of the Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC). The main business introduced and discussed was the recently commissioned SEERAD Science Research Strategy.
