VETERINARY AND ADVISORY SERVICES

Rural and Environment Research and Analysis Directorate (RERAD) commission a range of veterinary and advisory services from the SAC ( SAC ) These commissioned services provide a comprehensive range of free public good advice to rural business in). In 2006-07 VAS funding will amount to: £6.565m. Scotland , predominantly to the farming and crofting communities.

Each public good programme is divided into a number of advisory and veterinary activities (AA), and for each AA there is RERAD policy division lead person who ensures that the detailed programme of work carried out under service is relevant to RERAD needs and policies. The objectives of each individual activity are summarised below
