Scottish Government

Since the launch of the Community Empowerment Action Plan, the Scottish Government has been developing ways to increase local people's learning, working with a range of partner and stakeholder organisations. Community activists and volunteers have also provided comment and suggestions.

A number of resources and opportunities are now available:

• Local People Leading's Knowledge and Skills Exchange Programme promotes and stimulates learning and exchange of expertise across the sector, through visits to other relevant organisations and projects across Scotland.
• The Development Trust Association Scotland has produced a Development Trust Learning Resource Pack to help raise awareness of what development trusts are and how they work.
