Review of Gaelic Medium Early Years and Childcare Provision

The Scottish Government and Bòrd na Gàidhlig have jointly commissioned the University of Stirling and the University of Edinburgh to conduct a review of Gaelic medium early years provision.

A key project in the National Plan for Gaelic (2007 2012), this study involves a survey of existing provision, factors that facilitate and inhibit the development of Gaelic medium provision and of the support necessary to develop sustainable, high quality Gaelic medium pre-school education and childcare. The review began in January 2009 and will end with a report in July 2009.

Further details can be found on the University of Stirling's website.
