Our role in Communications is to:• support Scottish Ministers by promoting our work and demonstrating the results of the policies Ministers have put in place;• communicate the work of the agency itself, explaining its role and responsibilities;• promote the work of the agency at local level;• communicate details of specific schemes managed by Communities Scotland, including Homestake and Mortgage to Rent, to as many as possible of those who could benefit from them. We do this by producing business documents, newsletters and magazines, working with national, local and specialist media, supporting the agency’s involvement in conferences and exhibitions, managing its website and running publicity campaigns for specific initiatives. In all of this we aim to demonstrate that Communities Scotland recognises and seeks to meet the diverse needs of all the people and communities we work with.
