Gypsies & Travellers
the Save the Children report (see below) shows that information about the health status of Gypsy/Travellers ing Scotland and their views on access to, and the provision of, health services is severely limited. Extensive research from Ireland and England indicates that in general terms many Gypsy/Travellers and their children experience poorer health compared to the rest of the population. It has been argued that high levels of social exclusion and marginalisation have resulted in Gypsy/Travellers having the poorest health of any group in the U.K.
