Gender Equality: In Focus

Scottish Ministers decided in June 2009 that tackling violence against women and occupational segregation are priorities in working towards gender equality.

They will publish a report giving an overview of progress made by listed public bodies (including Scottish Government) in each of these areas by July 2010.

Our scheme focuses on our high level priorities for progressing equality of opportunity between women and men and sets out our plans for delivery over the next three years (13 June 2008).

Gender Equality Scheme Annual Report 2009 shows what progress the Scottish Government has made since the 2008 annual report.
