Scottish Operational Guidance Board
Introduction
The Scottish Operational Guidance Board (SOGB) was set up in 2009 to provide a consultative forum that can effectively select and prioritise guidance that needs to be updated for the Fire and Rescue Services in Scotland. It will consider guidance produced by the English Operational Guidance Programme Board and determine its appropriateness for Scottish Fire and Rescue Services and consider guidance on operational issues from other international and external sources and to use as a basis for the development of Scottish guidance as deemed appropriate.
Membership of the Scottish Operational Guidance Board is made up of representatives from the Fire and Rescue Service, Representative Bodies, industry experts, the Health and Safety Executive and HM Fire Service Inspectorate.
