Scottish Resilience

Scottish Resilience is part of Scottish Government. It works with frontline organisations to prepare for, and where necessary respond to, all types of emergencies.

Scottish Resilience brings together civil servants and professionals from the blue-light services, local government and health partners. Its staff are based in Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow, and at the Scottish Fire Services College at Gullane.

Scottish Resilience was launched in February 2008 by the Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Kenny MacAskill.
