Criminal Justice provides the legal framework, systems and services needed to make Scotland safer, stronger, wealthier and fairer; to modernise the administration of (criminal) justice to help build public confidence; to provide and support the enforcement and management of effective and well targeted sentences; and to tackle the revolving door of offending and re-offending.
