Vulnerable Witnesses Act Implementation

Vulnerable Witnesses - Implementation Steering Group and Sub Groups

The Vulnerable Witnesses Scotland Act (2004) received Royal assent on the 14th April 2004. The Scottish Executive then formed the Vulnerable Witnesses Act Implementation Steering Group (VWISG) and its sub-groups on Subordinate Legislation (VWSL), Training and Communications (VWTC), Equipment and Accommodation (VWEA). These groups bring together key partners to work with the Scottish Executive in developing and taking forward the practical measures required to ensure the effective implementation of the first phase of the Act.

This section provides details of the remits and membership of these groups, as well as papers and minutes of their meetings.
