Title:The Police (Minimum Age for Appointment) (Scotland) Regulations 2006
Description:These regulations lower the minimum age of appointment of Police Officers from 18 years 6 months to 18 years and also lower the age at which a Chief Constable must be satisfied that a prospective Police Cadet is likely to be able to satisfy the qualifications for appointment to a police force in the rank of constable, from 18 years and 6 months to 18 years.
