Europe
The work of the European Union (EU) is increasingly important to Scotland, across a wide range of policy areas. The Scottish Government is determined to ensure our voice is heard in EU decision-making, particularly where there is a distinctive or disproportionate impact in Scotland. Engaging with the European Institutions can also provide an excellent platform to demonstrate our policy success in areas where we are leading practice in Europe, resulting in increased profile and reputation for Scotland.
