An event to mark and measure progress with the Mental Health priority in Scotland an event has been organised to be held in Edinburgh on 3 and 4 December.
The full details are provided here. The event will also set out planned next steps and the agenda has been designed to provide a training, awareness and participatory programme.

LEADING CHANGE IN MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IN SCOTLAND:LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME: LEADING CHANGE
'Leading Change' is a Leadership Programme firmly rooted in local mental health systems that are driving the redesign/ improvement work for mental health in Scotland. We are now entering the second year of the initiative and this calendar and actual progress has been informed by the attached outcome report from the independent evaluation of action to date across Scotland.
The report of an independent evaluation commissioned for the first year of the Programme is now available.

Periodic updates were promised as progress was made and new aspects were added. I am now pleased to attach a copy of the July 2008 version of these documents.

One Year On event December 2007
On 10 December over 150 service users, carers, and mental health professionals gathered together to review progress on the 14 committments, 3 HEAT targets and support programme that make up the current priorities in mental health.
