Our National Health endorsed the principles of The Framework for Mental Health Services in Scotland as providing a joint planning template for health, social work, housing agencies and voluntary sector partners for the provision of a modern comprehensive range of services and support from hospital to domiciliary care.
The approaches detailed in the Framework and related documents have informed the development of the more recent policy document Delivering for Health.

The Framework addition on the best organisation of Psychological intervention care is also supplemented by an outcome report from the Scottish Development Centre (SDC) and Glasgow Institute of Psychosocial Interventions (GIPSI). The report adds to the available information and offers insights to the best approach for change and improvement.
