The Implementation Board will give direction and leadership at national, regional and local levels. This group will meet 3 times a year and will supervise progress with DFMH and aspects of the Mental Health Nursing Review.
The group includes NHS, local authority, Health Department, service user, carer and professional representation. The outcomes from the Implementation Review and Reference Group meetings will further inform their work.
The key areas of responsibility for the Implementation Board will be to:
- Oversee the delivery and successful implementation of the targets and committments within DFMH;
- Provide strategic professional, clinical, managerial, service user and carer input to inform service change and delivery;
- Assist in the review of targets and commitments; and
- Participate in local, national and regional events and provide leadership across professional groups in the delivery of the plan.
