"[By 2008] We will work with the Dementia Services Development Centre at Stirling University and NHS Forth Valley to undertake a pilot programme in improving dementia services"
The Dementia Services Development Centre undertook an improvement programme in the Forth Valley area. Its main aims were to determine the needs of people with dementia in the Forth Valley area, find out what current services are available and devise ways to improve the provision of care to people with dementia.
The project officially started with the Convention on 19th April 2007 which gathered views about how to take the project forward. Ongoing reports and information on the progress of this project can be found on the Forth Valley Dementia Project website or by email.
