Shona Robison's Physical Activity Blog

Week one - trying something different

Friday, February 6, 2009

Physical Activity BlogWell, it's been a week since I made my pledge to keep active.

This year I've decided to try something different and fit half an hour of physical activity around my day.

I started last Thursday with a lunch-time walk in Holyrood Park. It was a bit chilly but it was great to get out in the fresh air. The time flew by and I felt really energised afterwards.

On Friday I was busy in the constituency office all day, but I went to a ceilidh at night and made sure I had a few dances - it all counts!

I found time before dinner on Saturday afternoon to go on the exercise bike, then I had a great walk on Sunday with my family.

So far, so good - and it's been easier than I thought to fit this into my day.

I'll let you know how I'm getting on next Friday.

Let me know how you are doing.

Shona

Thanks for the blog Shona. Good to see that you are facing some of the same challenges as me - how to get more active and do a little bit (more) every day. I'll keep checking on your progress and see if I can keep pace with you!
Kind regards
T
