The Ministerial Task Force on Health Inequalities
The Ministerial Task Force on Health Inequalities, chaired by Ms Shona Robison MSP, Minister for Public Health met several times over during late 2007/early 2008. The Task Force comprised of Ministers from across the Scottish Government and representative from NHSScotland, the Third Sector and local authorities.
The Task Force brought together informed representation from across Scotland to provide detailed evidence and background information on the issues directly influencing health inequalities in Scotland. This information was used to write Equally Well - The Report of the Ministerial Task Force on Health Inequalities which was launched by Ms Robison on 19 June 2008.
