The Users and Carers Group was set up to develop a learning disability strategy. It has continued to inform implementation of The same as you? and to undertake tasks with a user/carer focus.
The group continues to meet to support implementation of specific issues related to the drive for greater choice and independence. The group now includes representatives of other community care groups.
