Website
Work is progressing on the design and creation of an independent website which will be accessed at www.survivorscotland.org.uk. Please continue to check here for details of the launch.
This is intended to underpin the strategy and will be a source of information, guidance and contacts for anyone either seeking further information on services available, or seeking help on a personal or professional level. This will help to ensure that professional networks are established to help make practical and policy links in this area.
Conference
A national conference took place on 28 February 2007 and attracted over 300 delegates. The conference report is available.
Development Fund
Applications for the Fund have now closed. A list of successful applicants is available.
Other Work
Good progress is being made on the strategy more generally and other work to date includes initial development of 2 pilot projects on data collection with the intent of not only assisting in determining the kinds of services available but concurrently providing training programmes, awareness raising and "training for trainers" for frontline staff asking the questions.
