I have pleasure in enclosing the Report of the Integrated Human Resource Working Group. The Report contains a number of recommendations that I am sure will have a positive impact on the future planning and delivery of Joint future health and community care services.
Together with fellow Ministers I am currently considering the context of the report and I would like you to take part in the process. To ensure that I can respond to the Report and consider your views I would be grateful if you would submit your comments to my office by the end of June 2002.
Successful delivery of joint health and community care services will require close working between the Scottish Executive, local government, the NHS Scotland and other agencies.
Your views are important and will enable us all to take the joint future agenda forward.
