JOINT RESOURCING GROUP
Role of Group
To advise the Scottish Government, NHSScotland, COSLA and CIPFA on the continued development of good practice for Joint Resourcing in Scotland to support the delivery of better outcomes for service users and their carers.
To further develop good practice guidance for Joint Resourcing, this should include consideration of guidance in the following specific areas: Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Audit & Assurance, Financial Accounting, Management and Reporting and VFM.
To support, as appropriate, the Joint Future Implementation and Advisory Group to improve the adoption and development of Joint Resourcing in support of more and better Joint Services.
To support, as appropriate, the Joint Premises Project Board in its role of implementing the recommendations of the Short Life Working Group on Joint Premises Development.
To work with the Local Authority (Scotland) Accounts Advisory Committee (LASAAC), NHSScotland and others in developing and promoting proper accounting practice for Joint Resourcing.
To support, as appropriate, the Joint Future HR Group with staff training and development for Joint Resourcing.
