Free Personal and Nursing Care in Scotland
Personal care is available without charge for everyone in Scotland aged 65 and over who have been assessed by the local authority as needing it.
Free nursing care is available for people of any age.

We have recently produced a new leaflet " Finding the Care That is Right For You" that gives information on care and support services for older people either for themselves or a relative. It will also be helpful for those providing unpaid care. This replaces our previous publication "Thinking about moving into a care home".
