What the definition can cover

A service which provides advice, guidance, assistance for people to whom accommodation is provided under section 27 (1)(b) or (c) of Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968.

Examples

  • people on probation;
  • people released from prison who are under a statutory order or licence as they are assessed as unable, at this time, to live independently in the community.

Commencement status

Phased with full commencement (all services) 1 April 2004.
