The following Working Groups have been set up to develop guidance to assist implementation of the Act.
This section provide information on the remit of the groups, the membership of the groups and papers of meetings.
Implementation of Part 1 of the Act is being guided by the Health Protection Planning Subgroup
Implementation of Part 2 of the Act is being guided by the Notification Subgroup
Implementation of Parts 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 of the Act is being guided by the Health Board and Local Authority Powers and Functions Subgroup
Implementation of Part 8 of the Act is being guided by two Working Groups. The details of the progress made is available on the website.
Implementation of Part 9 of the Act is being guided by the Scottish Government Environmental Quality Directorate
Implementation of Part 10 of the Act will be guided by the Implementation Team and the Scottish Government Legal Directorate
The National Implementation Group oversees the implementation of the Act to ensure a smooth transition to the new legislative framework by 1 April 2010.
