
269,186 GP Patients in Scotland took part in the GP Patient Access Survey in 2008.
This survey was carried out by the Scottish Government with the purpose of measuring the new Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) indicators for patient experience of access.
In 2009 the GP Access Questions will be included in the GP Patient Experience Survey.
This survey is being carried out as part of Better Together, Scotland's Patient Experience Programme.
