A sub group of the main Implementation Group has been established to recommend an options appraisal process which could be used to identify a prime site for neurosurgery in Scotland. This work is being carried out by representatives from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS Lothian, NHS Tayside and NHS Grampian. The sub group is chaired by Dr Frances Elliot, Medical Director, NHS Fife.
Recommendations from the work of this group will be presented to the Implementation Group in December.
