The Scottish Forum for Healthcare Science consists of 9 representatives of the three main scientific strands in Healthcare Science; Life Sciences Physiological Sciences, and Physics & Engineering Sciences (Terms of Reference). The Forum provides a professional route to promote the role of Healthcare Science in Scotland and is the main link for providing advice via the Scottish Government Directors General for Health and Wellbeing.
The Forum is currently chaired by Professor Peter Sharp, with secretariat provided by Michele Thorpe.
