The Health Management Library
The Health Management Library is a free library and information service for all healthcare staff working within NHS Scotland. The Library specialises in the non-clinical aspects of healthcare and holds Scotland's most comprehensive and extensive collection of healthcare management information.
The Health Management Library can provide you with information and resources to support various aspects of healthcare planning, policy, management and redesign. The Library holds information on a variety of subjects including:

Library and Information Services available to all NHS Scotland Staff
Literature Search Service:
The team's experienced information professionals can carry out customised expert literature searches for you.
Loan and Document Delivery Service:
The Library holds over 14,000 books, reports and policy documents and subscribes to 180 current journal titles. A full lending and photocopying service is available. Wherever you work in NHS Scotland all items will be posted or emailed directly to you.
Reference Enquiries:
The team will endeavour to answer your quick and reference enquiries using the Library's unique collection and expert knowledge of retrieving information.
Training Materials:
The Library holds a collection of video-based training programmes essential for the delivery of training, in areas such as change management, diversity, empowerment and teamwork.
Current Awareness Service:
In order to keep up to date with fast moving healthcare issues, the Library produces a monthly current awareness bulletin. This bulletin provides details on new reports, journal articles, books and policy documents added to the Library stock. The bulletin can be emailed or posted directly to you.
Training:
The Library offers tailored workshops for groups and individual training sessions on accessing management information.
