Diagnostics Collaborative Programme Aim

The Diagnostics Collaborative Programme was launched on 25 April 2006 to support Health Boards achieve the nine-week standard for eight high volume tests in imaging and endoscopy by December 2007.

Diagnostics Collaborative Programme Vision

The vision of the Diagnostics Collaborative is to improve patient and carer experience and satisfaction through improving access to the eight key diagnostic tests where explicit standards have been set across every NHS system in Scotland. The Collaborative will provide the NHS with the tools and techniques to better understand their demand, activity and capacity and therefore make sustainable changes to working practices and care processes.
