Funding Streams Outwith Aggregate External Finance

Between the financial years 2005-06 to 2007-08 local authorities in Scotland can expect to receive around one and a half billion (£1.5bn), Coinsin each year, of support that lies outwith the core Local Government Finance settlement. This money is provided by the Scottish Executive and is made up of revenue and capital grants for specific policy initiatives and other time limited projects. Details of these grants are contained within regular circulars issued by the Scottish Executive. These grants are, where possible broken down to local authority level.
