The following publications estimate the take-up of business rate relief schemes in Scotland in 2009-10.
Around 110,500 premises received some form of rates relief in 2009-10 compared to 94,000 in 2008-09, according to these new uptake figures. This includes around 74,000 companies which paid zero or reduced business rates due to the Scottish Government's Small Business Bonus Scheme in 2009-10, which is up from 64,000 recipients the year before.
