The Scottish Government

In response to the report published by Professor Lorne Crerar into scrutiny of public services in Scotland,

the Scottish Government has set up 5 short-life action groups to take the proposals forward.

These looked at:

• Accountability and Governance
• Fit-for Purpose Complaints System
• Policy and Approach
• Reducing Burdens
• User Focus

The 5 groups are co-ordinated by the Programme Board
