• National Category Forum (NCF): The NCF is not yet established and membership will be predominantly from the Local Authority arena due to the level of spend. Discussion are however taking place with Centres of Expertise and individual Public Bodies regarding potential membership of the NCF.

• Category Plan: The Category Plan is being developed utilising information obtained from suppliers and Public Bodies as part of an ongoing data gathering exercise to establish the overall scope of the commodity.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Discussions have taken place with suppliers, Scottish Public Sector bodies and other public sector buying organisations to determine the nature of the market and gain an understanding of potential procurement strategies. These discussions are ongoing and will be reflected in the Category Plan.
