- Office Equipment Category Plan: The Office Equipment Category plan has been finalised and endorsed by the NCF members. The initial findings and opportunities from the Category Plan led to further commodity analysis by way of an economic analysis paper, survey and stakeholder workshops.
- Office Equipment Survey: An Office Equipment survey was carried out in early 2008, it was distributed to public sector organisations via the CoE's. A 50% response rate was achieved covering circa 80% of spend. The survey captured spend, buying trends and future procurement intentions.
- Office Equipment Stakeholder Workshops: Building upon the survey, Procurement Scotland hosted a number of stakeholder workshops across Scotland during June 2008. The cross sector workshops where open to all organisations to attend and provided an additional outlet for organisations to feedback on the commodity and share best practice.
- Sourcing Strategy: The Sourcing Strategy for Office Equipment was finalised by Procurement Scotland and the NCF members in June. This was issued to the six Centres of Expertise in July, all six sectors have endorsed the strategy.
