ACHIEVEMENTS TO DATE
Procurement Scotland Collaborative Procurement Arrangement (CPA) for Netbooks 2009
Following the recent Netbook tender exercise, Procurement Scotland are pleased to provide the details of this award. This CPA, which is subject to the terms of the OGCbs Catalist Framework Agreement, facilitates the contract between the Contracting Authority and the supplier; no further procurement action is required.
Unit prices achieved in the exercise have been held for the duration of each product's lifespan. Scottish Public Sector bodies who notified their intention to participate can call-off from this arrangement. All equipment available is of the latest release with a full 6 month roadmap.
Procurement Scotland have awarded the Netbook collaborative agreement to Insight UK working in partnership with Toshiba. The mainstream and Open Source variants have been awarded to the Toshiba NB200 Netbook. Further details on the contract award can be obtained from Gill McLeod , Lee Rutherford or Gordon Neill.
