Achievements to date
On 5 August 2008 Procurement Scotland awarded the first national framework for Office Supplies. The framework comprises of three lots and these were awarded as follows:
- Lot 1 - General Stationery - Lyreco UK Limited
- Lot 2 - IT Consumables - Spectrum Computer Supplies Limited
- Lot 3 - Paper - Lyreco UK Limited
The contract commenced on the 1 September 2008 and is available across all parts of the Scottish public sector. Organisations should contact there sector Centre of Expertise for further details, those organistions not affiliated with a Centre of Expertise should contact Procurement Scotland directly - ps-enquiries@scotland.gsi.gov.uk
Contract Implementation - Procurement Scotland and the National Category Forum are working with the suppliers, the sector Centres' of Expertise and customer organisations to implement the frameworks and ensure a smooth transition to them.
Strategic Supplier and Contract Management - Procurement Scotland is continually working with the suppliers and customer organisations to ensure the frameworks meet customer requirements and deliver on-going value. As part of its ongoing strategic supplier and contract management programme customer organisations are invited to provide feedback on the frameworks. The feedback is collected through balanced scorecard, and can be provided on a quarterly or annual basis. IT Consumables - Procurement Scotland and the Office Supplies National Category Forum, working with Spectrum Computer Supplies Ltd have identified a number of opportunities for organisations to maximise the value they receive from the IT Consumables Framework.
