National Procurement Conference

The Scottish Government's National Public Procurement Conference is the biggest event in the Scottish Procurement Calendar. The Conference provides an opportunity to hear how organisations and individuals from across the public sector are meeting the challenges and what lessons can be learned from those involved in reforming procurement practices and performance.

Scottish Government has a continuing commitment and determination to see ongoing improvement in the Reform Programme through:

  • delivering significant benefits across the public sector
  • achieving best value for the people of Scotland in procurement related activity
  • contributing to economic recovery and growth.

Public procurement plays a key role in supporting economic growth. The economic challenges facing Scotland will require a sharpening focus on the importance of effective procurement.
