Independent Review

LTS International were commissioned by the Scottish Government to undertake a Review of International Development Fund projects in Malawi. The Review looked at 39 projects taken forward by Scottish organisations and delivered across Malawi, they gathered case study examples of good practice and lessons learned.

The Review gives a positive overall assessment of the viability and rationale of the International Development Fund as well as illustrating how well projects have been able to deliver real benefits on the ground in Malawi. The final review is now available.

The Review is supplemented by four thematic papers of Advocacy, Partnerships, Project Cycle Management, Design and Modality, and the Millennium Development Goals. Each paper provides further case studies and specific illustrations of good practice.
