
Sichuan is in southwest China, on the upper reaches of Yangtze River. As the strongest economy in western China, it is rich in natural resources and has the most established industrial sector in the region. The province has abundant tourism resources: it is home to the giant panda; four world heritage sites; and famous for its spicy food.
