EU FORWARD LOOK: FORECASTING THE MAJOR ISSUES OF THE YEAR
In January of each year the Scottish Government's EU office looks forward to the events of the year, forecasting the issues and policies that are likely to be raised in the Commission, the Parliament and the Council and analysing the possible impacts on Scotland.
July sees the mid-term review of the Forward Look, looking back on events of the previous six months of the year and renewing projections for the remaining six months.
While the Forward Look represents the understanding of the Scottish Government's EU Office at that time, it is not an official statement of the views of the Scottish Government and its Ministers.
