Scottish Ministers taking part in European related conferences and events
As well as directly engaging with the European institutions and holding bilateral meetings with our European partners, Scottish Ministers regularly take part in a wide range of conferences and events that promote Scotland's profile and interests in Europe. This may mean holding discussions with UK, Welsh and Northern Irish counterparts on Scotland's position on European issues. It may mean stimulating and contributing to discussion amongst Scotland's stakeholders and representatives on agreeing Scotland's interests. Or it may involve giving support to industry-led events designed to promote Scottish excellence in Europe.
Whatever the case Scottish Ministers will use their time as effectively as possible to represent Scotland's interests and promote its profile in Europe.
