How will users access and use the eCare Framework?
The only way that authorised users will be able to access the eCare Framework is through their existing single agency system. In effect this means only those who have been authrised to access for example a Social Work system for a Local Authority, or a Health system for a Health Board will be able to view a shared record.
eCare also has the facility to audit all of those accessing shared records to ensure that no practitioner without reasonable cause such as being directly involved in the assessment for and delivery of a care service to view a shared record.
There is no facility within eCare for a practitioner to 'browse' any shared records held in the 'Multi Agency Store' (MAS). Rather a practitioner must seek a match between a record held on their own system with that held on another system to enable a shared record to be created and published to the MAS.
