Common Infrastructure Standards Advisory Group
The OSIAF is a product of the Common Infrastructure Standards Advisory Group (CISAG), which was set up to promote the development and use of common standards and specifications across the Scottish public sector. The CISAG is the strategic body responsible for the ongoing development of the OSIAF and it ensures that new standards are brought into the common framework and additions to the framework are suitably publicised.
More information is available on the Common Infrastructure Standards Advisory Group page.
Scottish Executive Public Sector ICT Policy Team
Through the CISAG the Public Sector ICT Policy Team works with the Scottish public sector and other intermediary organisations, which are involved in interactions between citizens and government, to identify areas of potential co-operation in electronic public service delivery. The team:
- maintains, publishes and promotes the OSIAF
- supports the Practitioner Network
- maintains a network of OSIAF Co-ordinators and Technical Assurance Co-ordinators to work with project boards
- promotes the OSIAF within the ICT supplier community
The Public Sector ICT Policy Team also provides a secretariat function to the CISAG and the SIG. The Public Sector ICT Policy Team can be contacted at osiaf@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
